Art Process after 50 Sketches
So I really wasn't that impressed with my own 50 sketches. I saw a few promising ideas, but nothing that was going to work without more conceptual refinement, in my opinion.
The exercise wasn't a loss, though. It sparked a later episode of sketching, a more relaxed, stream-of-consciousness period which I think I'm still getting ideas from.
So, like a preliminary warm-up, the 50 sketches helped get the juices flowing, but it took more sketching to get to the concepts I was happy to work with.
This is the first product based on the sketches after the 50 sketches. The working title is "Are We There Yet?"
Still working on it.
